5 Apps Every Content Creator Needs

1. Lightroom (Free)

I love using Lightroom for two things. First of all I use it to up the exposure of my photos. From all the photo editing apps I have tried Lightroom gives the most natural result. I also use Lightroom to adjust the colors of my photos to match my blueish Instagram theme!

2. Canva (Free)

You can do so many things with Canva. Create highlight covers for Instagram stories, cards, Pinterest images and so much more. (If you would like a dedicated tutorial let me know in the comments below.)

3. UNUM (Free)

UNUM is a pretty straight forward app. You can use it to plan your Instagram feed. (Something I definitely should start doing more.) I like it, because it gets updated automatically whenever you update your Instagram profile!

4. Hype Type (Free)

Did you ever see a story with animated text? Hype Type does exactly that. You can choose the style and color. Keep in mind that although the app is free the video comes with a watermark that you have to pay to remove.

5. Pixabay (Free)

Pixabay is a great source for free high quality photography. Keeping up with blogging photography is hard and sometimes you need a little help. But you should always use someone’s work with their permission. That’s why Pixabay offers photos without copyright limitations.

      1. I just tried Pixabay and OMG they have really quality images and I was searching on google for all these types of images and I couldn’t find them so tyyyy❤

    1. Essentially Canva provides templates that fit perfectly to famous social media that you can customize to your liking. ☺️

  1. My favorite is Hootsuite – I can schedule anything to my FB, Twitter and Instagram account. They’ve change up with Instagram here lately in where, they’ll automatically post to your IG page – used to be, you would have to log on and make sure it posts. I have canva and absolutely love it as well. I will try light room and Pixabay. Great Post!

    1. Did they? I had tried it in the past and indeed you could schedule something but you had to be there to actually upload it so I thought why bother? I’ll check it out again. Clad you liked the post! Let me know how you find them. ❤️

      1. Hey Naya! Yes, girl…check them out again – they just implemented it like (don’t hold me to it on the date accuracy) but I believe like a week ago and it works! Save me a lot of time. Yes, I’ll let you know!

    1. Adobe Lightroom software is not even close to free and requires training to use. What I am referring in the post is the phone app which is free and pretty straightforward. Hope this helps.

  2. Thank you so much for the recommendation! Gonna try one of them soon. All this time I only knew VSCO 😂
